Salutations!

My name is Katie Van Deer, and I am the designer and owner at Cody Cabinet Barn. While selling cabinets is an important part of my work, my true passion lies in design. I love sitting down with my clients to learn about their families and lifestyles, so I can create a space that truly reflects their unique needs and personal style.

Unlike companies that rely on remote designers or AI, I work in person with each client from start to finish, ensuring that your vision is brought to life in the most practical and beautiful way possible. I use industry-leading software that allows me to create 3D renderings of your space. This means I can literally show you what your space will look like, no trying to visualize or hoping it turns out just right.  Once I’ve created the designs and 3D renderings I sit down with my clients and go over every detail. We’ll review everything together and make any revisions until we get it absolutely perfect!  

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in both design and installation, I understand how every detail comes together in real life. I’ve built and installed cabinets myself, so I know what works and what doesn’t, and I’m committed to making sure your space is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.

As a Wyoming native, I have a deep understanding of our local lifestyle and how to incorporate that rustic charm into a space while keeping it warm, timeless, and functional. I stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations by regularly attending national kitchen and bath shows, ensuring that I can offer you cutting-edge designs and solutions, whether you’re looking for something traditional, transitional, or modern.

From our first consultation to the final installation, I’ll be by your side every step of the way. My goal is to make the entire process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, and to create a space that feels like home—one that’s both beautiful and functional.
